Background

To help promote the song "Lost," Michael Bublé performed it on The X Factor on December 8, 2007. The song was also included in the sixth season of the American TV show NCIS, which follows police work. In the episode titled "Heartland," the song played during a scene where Agent Gibbs leaves Stillwater and reflects on how he met his first wife. Later, Jann Arden, one of the song's co-writers, recorded a version of "Lost" for her album Free. The song achieved some success worldwide. In Canada, it reached #25 on the charts. In the United States, "Lost" peaked at #97, which was Michael Bublé's third-highest chart entry. It also performed well in the United Kingdom, where it reached #19, and in Norway, where it peaked at #14. In 2009, "Lost" was nominated for a Juno Award.
