Sydney is a business leader for an investment company. She goes to France to buy a famous champagne brand before Christmas. But her plans change when she meets a charming Parisian man. They start to like each other, but he is the son of the champagne brand's founder.
The movie was released on Netflix on November 19, 2025.
Plot
During a meeting at a large American company called The Roth Group (TRG), Sydney suggests that the company should enter the Champagne business. Her boss, Marvin, asks her to travel to Paris to buy the Champagne Château from Hugo Cassell. Sydney’s sister, Skyler, asks her to take one night off in Paris to explore the city.
In Paris, Sydney visits a bookstore named Les Etoiles. A French man named Henri helps her. He explains that he is not currently employed there but hopes to open a bookstore that also serves wine in the future. Henri offers to show Sydney around the city, and she agrees.
Henri takes Sydney to see the Eiffel Tower and shares a meal of crepes and hot wine with her. He mentions that he regrets losing a book called Le Petit Prince, which his mother gave him before she passed away when he was six. Sydney tells him about her recent divorce, which happened after her husband cheated. The two then share a kiss and spend the night together.
The next day, Sydney arrives late for her meeting with Hugo Cassell. She is surprised to see Henri there, who is actually Hugo’s son. Sydney’s competitors—Roberto, Otto, and Brigitte—are also present. All of them are invited to stay at Château Cassell for a few days. After the meeting, Marvin calls Sydney and criticizes her for not being forceful enough. He sends another employee, Ryan, to help her with the purchase of the Château.
At Château de Cassell, the guests attend a reception before joining a Christmas celebration. The next day, Hugo walks with Sydney and shows her the area around the Château where he married his late wife, Sophie. Later, while chasing the family dog, Sydney finds the missing Le Petit Prince near a wine cellar.
Ryan arrives at Château Cassell and secretly tells Sydney that TRG plans to sell the Château to a Japanese company called Takami, earning $50 million in profit. He congratulates Sydney for supporting the deal. Henri overhears this and becomes upset but leaves before Sydney can argue against the plan. Sydney later visits Henri, who tells her that they cannot be together.
Sydney quits TRG and informs Hugo about TRG’s plans before returning to her hotel. The next day, Hugo sells Château Cassell to Roberto, as Sydney had warned him about TRG’s intentions. Henri realizes he made a mistake by doubting Sydney. He finds her at the bookstore, and they reconcile.
A year later, at Château Cassell, Henri and Sydney celebrate Christmas together. They have opened their wine bookstore, and Roberto, Otto, and Skyler are present.
