A trilogy ring is a ring that has three stones placed together along the band. The middle stone is usually bigger or positioned higher than the other two stones, which are the same. The three stones represent the past, present (the middle stone), and future. These rings are commonly given as engagement rings, but they can also be used for other purposes, like eternity rings.
