This is a list of TV movies made for the cable networks Hallmark Channel (HC) and Hallmark Mystery (HMM). These movies are now called Hallmark Channel Original Movies and Hallmark Mysteries.
The Hallmark Channel officially started in August 2001. Its sister channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (originally called Hallmark Movie Channel), began in January 2004. Both channels show original films and film series, such as Garage Sale Mysteries, Jesse Stone, Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, and The Good Witch. They also produce mystery-themed wheel series.
The Hallmark Channel had its highest ratings ever with the 2014 movie Christmas Under Wraps, starring Candace Cameron Bure. This movie was watched by 5.8 million people. Both networks get their highest ratings during their "Countdown to Christmas" period, when they air many festive original films from late October to late December.
Many of these films are shown in Canada by the W Network and Citytv through agreements with Hallmark’s parent company, Crown Media. Most Hallmark Channel films are filmed in Canada, which helps them meet Canadian content rules. In the United Kingdom, Hallmark Original Movies are shown on Movies 24, a related channel.
Umbrella series
The channels have aired several umbrella or "wheel series," which include the first showings of original films.
Seasonal programming
The channels also create special TV schedules that come out each season, which include the first showings of new movies.
Film series
Some Hallmark movies are part of a larger group of movies. Below is a list of all these groups, arranged in order from A to Z, along with the number of movies in each group.
Hallmark Entertainment
Some movies are not included in the previously mentioned groups. The following list includes television movies and special series made by or for Hallmark Entertainment that were not first shown on Hallmark Channel, other channels owned by Hallmark, or as part of the Hallmark Hall of Fame collection.
