Ji Sung and Hwang Jung-eum worked together again on this show, having previously appeared together in Secret Love (2013).

Synopsis

The human body has many ways to survive difficult situations. Cha Do-hyun (Ji Sung) is a person from a family that has owned a business for three generations. He developed dissociative identity disorder (previously known as multiple personality disorder) after experiencing several dangerous and painful events. He tries to take control of his life with the help of Oh Ri-jin (Hwang Jung-eum), a new doctor who helps him in secret. However, Ri-jin's twin brother, Oh Ri-on (Park Seo-joon), is a writer who wants to find out about the dishonest actions of wealthy people and begins following Do-hyun. Will Do-hyun be able to manage his condition before one of his seven different identities takes over?

Casting

  • Lee Seung-gi was offered the role of Cha Do-hyun in the series but turned down the opportunity. The role was then offered to Hyun Bin, who also declined.
  • Lim Ji-yeon was also offered the female lead role in the series but chose not to accept it.

Remake

In 2017, a Chinese version called A Seven-Faced Man was broadcast on Tencent. In 2018, a Hong Kong version called Threesome was broadcast on TVB.
